Read Your Competition’s Work
February 14th, 2007 by CourtWhatever the topic of your site or blog, you need to know your stuff! If your competitors know it better than you do, I hope that you’re reading their work. Reading your competition’s writing can be one of the best ways to spruce up your knowledge of your topic.
The internet offers a wealth of knowledge and a lot of opportunity. There is plenty of room for a thousand sites of every topic, so there is no reason to be threatened by your competition!
To the contrary, you should embrace your competition and makes friends with them. You can comment on their blog, contributing to their site. Healthy relationships with other bloggers and webmaster encourage them to read your work. They may even link to you when you have content they think will help their readers.
The blogosphere is a fraternity of loyal members. If you show repect to everyone, you can quickly gain it.
