March 1st, 2007 by CourtDay 3 was a lot easier than day 2! I split the cardio into 2 sessions. They were both 30 minutes and I felt great! I promise to provide more info tomorrow!

60 minutes of cardio a day isn’t an instant road to fitness.
After 30 minutes of cardio, your muscles start to go catabolic on themselves (they consume themselves for energy) it’s a basic instinct. If you run\jog for 30 minutes or under (I actually suggest HIIT) and including weight training in your excersize routine, it will help much more. Building your muscles and doing cardio keep your metabolism up, and that’s one of the most important things on losing weight.
I’ve lost about 20 pounds in the past two monthes, and I’ve tried running for 60 minutes 5 times a week before, but nothing helped. Take a healthy approach to it. You’re not going to lose 50 pounds in a month. About 2 pounds a week is a great thing to aim for. Don’t look for results either, you’ll feel them.
It’s a great feeling overcoming the odds of society nowadays and losing weight.
Good luck with your future endeavors.
