Ongoing PageRank Update!
April 28th, 2007 by CourtIt’s about time Google did a PageRank update!
In case you haven’t heard, Google is in the process of updating toolbar PageRank. I went from 0 to 3 which isn’t too bad! I was hoping for a 4, but since my site is still less than 3 months old I know that I should be delighted with a 3. I have set a firm goal to have a 4 by the next PR update.
How did you all do on the PR update?
A Little Secret
The PR update hasn’t spread all over the internet yet. If you’re still seeing your old PR, there may still be hope! I’m still seeing my old one from home. Check the future PR tool at SEOChat.com. It checks several of Google’s data centers; some of them will show your old PageRank and some of them will show your new one.
If you search for my site, you’ll see that some of the data centers show PR0, and some show PR3. This means that I will be PR3 when the update is over. Go ahead and check it out!

I saw a page rank of 3 on my site. I am thrilled about it because my site is also less than two months old and I am delighted with 3. Looking forward for better ranking in the future. GOOD luck.
Cheers mate

Looks like I’ll end up with a four, but all of the data centers haven’t changed yet, so I’m trying to be patient. I moved off of blogspot to my own domain right after the last update, so I started over with a zero in February. Would be nice to see my 4 back.

Skeet, a 4 would be great after such a short period of time! Keep working and you can get to a five next time!

Lucia, I can’t tell yet if you’re going to have a 4 or a 5, but either way that’s awesome!

It look like I am holding at a 4, but my other blog http://www.utterlygeek.com is going to a 4.

Thanks for the nice tool! Unfortunately, PR for my site is still the same. =P

Hey a zero to a three is pretty darn good, especially for a young site. Congrats!
One of my newish domains that i really haven’t done much with went to a two - or at least it looks that way, and one other site went up. Nothings changed on any of the others yet, but I sure hope that the other blogs go up as well.

Wow it sounds like almost everyone has improved in PR this time around, or at least stayed the same. Keep working on links everyone!

Hi, Court,
I believe you can hit PR5 for the next update. Yes ! I mean it. Your site is so informative and there are lots of authority articles. Ha..I learnt this word ” authority”
from you…:D
I aim for PR4…for the next update.What should I do now ??

Some of you have asked how you can improve your PageRank for the next update. Watch for today’s post, it’s what I’m going to be talking about!

Hi Vedis! You can definitely get to a PR4 if you start working right now. PageRank is 100% about getting other sites to link to you. The more links you can get, the higher your PageRank will be! Watch for today’s lesson.
