Afternoon Update | Exercise Experiment – Day 3

May 23rd, 2007 by Court

Today was the best day mentally that I’ve had in weeks. It’s been now three days in a row that I’ve exercised first thing in the morning. I have also been eating really healthy food – I haven’t been eating much fat and haven’t been eating sugar at all.

I feel a lot more like the real me! Today I felt like I could think again! I worked for much of the day today on a monetization article that I’m really excited about. I decided that it’s not ready to publish yet, so it will probably be Friday before you see it. As I was working today, my mind seemed to be able to process information a lot more easily than I have for a while – organizing my thoughts and putting them ‘on paper’ is so much easier when I’m not abusing my body with bad foods and laziness.

I can see that this experiment needs to become a life-long habit; it really does make a difference and will surely allow me to be better at what I do. Barring something bizarre, I’m betting that tomorrow I’ll feel even better. Let’s hope!

Good stuff Court. Working out in the morning is actually on my list of summer resolutions. Bravo to you.

I only play soccer once a week now, my days of steady exercise have been too long gone. It’s time for me to start running 2-3 times as week like I know i should be.
