I just installed the Related Posts plug-in and don't see any related posts. Is this something that only works going forward, or should I be seeing related posts now?
thanks!

I've tried for a week or two to get the WP Contact plugin from ryanduff.net and his whole site appears to be down.

Perhaps you could recommend an alternative? I found this one that looks promising, but can't vouch for it personally yet...

That's a new one that I just installed! The plugin is called 'Subscribe To Comments'. Here it is:
http://txfx.net/code/wordpress/subscribe-to-comments/

You happened to see it when I was messing with placement, they both did the exact same thing!

Which plug-in are you using to allow users to check the options to "Subscribe to comments via email" and "Notify me of followup comments via e-mail"? Can you expand on the difference between the 2 options? Thank you.

Probably not! It never hurts to have extra security, but the other one will definitely stop all of the bot spam!

Excellent questions JoLynn! Simpletags is a good plugin that will definitely work for Technorati. The main difference is that ST creates links that point to Technorati. This means that every time you create a tag, you're linking out to another site.

UTW tags link to special tag pages within your site - pages that are also created by the plugin. Since you will have more internal links, and less out-bound links using UTW, it is better for your overall SEO.

It's going to be a fairly small difference though, nothing to stress over!

Hey Donovan! The WordPress stats plugin is a good one. I tried it for a while, but decided that I preferred Statcounter.com as my tracker of choice. Right now I'm running Statcounter and Google Analytics to determine which one I like the best!
