How To Find My WordPress Plugins
June 5th, 2007 by CourtI have always tried to make sure that CourtneyTuttle.com provides as much value as it possibly can. I also watch my stats very closely and have seen multiple search queries on the site that show that people are pretty interested in which WordPress plugins I’m using. In order to make this easy to find, I have created a dedicated page that shows all of my current plugins. You can see the ‘WordPress Plugins‘ page at the top of every page, in my main navigation.
I wrote a post a few weeks ago that showed the plugins I was using then - I have actually added two new ones since then. I add and remove plugins almost weekly - I am always finding better versions of plugins I’m already using and am always looking for additional plugins that add functionality to the site.
In order that make it easy to find my newest plugins, the ones that I have installed most recently will appear at the top of the list. I will also alert you with a post each time I install a new one - I don’t want anyone to miss out on any good ones that I find!

I like the idea of adding a tab at the top with your plugins. I wish someone would have done that when I was getting started. Beats searching countless blogs…or guessing which plugin is which on WordPress.

I wish someone would have done it when I started blogging too! Most of the ones I installed in the beginning took hours to find.

Thanks for the great list.:) I installed couple of plugins from your list couple of days ago.
I am having trouble with ’subscribe to comment’ plugin though. I installed it but it doesn’t show up! I guess I will have to work on it some more tonight.

Court - I really enjoy and learn from your blog. I hope it becomes very profitable for you! I just upgraded to wordpress 2.2, and now I can’t get noWWW to work. Have you or anyone else had a similar experience? Cheers - Mark

That’s exactly why I haven’t upgraded yet.
You should get an account with Google Webmaster Tools and tell them what your preferred URL is. It has the exact same effect!

I always believe in giving credit to those who write those plug-ins.
but you can make your life easier, as there is a plug-in that automatically lists all the plugins you have installed. Which means that it updates itself.
You can see it running on my blog:

And here is the link to the plug-in:

Sounds like a cool plugin - I like to be able to write a description and keep them all in a certain order so I think I’ll keep doing this one by hand! Thanks for a useful tip though!

There is actually another plug-in for WP that allows you to do exactly that. Not sure where I saw it, but there’s a good chance that I found it on either Doug’s or Yvonne”’s blog mentioned.

Lol, I totally know what you mean. Good luck and let me know if you get stuck anywhere.

Thanks for that. Been looking for a plugin that does something similar.
