Web Design
August 5th, 2007 by CourtWeb design can be one of the most crucial aspects of making money on the internet. A bad design for your site can make people instantly want to click the back button, and a good design will make many of them want to stick around for a while. Your logo, page layout, and navigation can be the difference between making it and failing online.
The purpose of web design is of course to create a website. By taking a look at what a website actually is, you learn that it is made up of multiple, organized files that are placed on a web server on the internet.
The two main types of websites online are static and dynamic. Static sites are designed to not change unless a human manually edits the files. Dynamic sites modify themselves based on user input, time of day, and other factors.
A good web designer will take into consideration many different factors including graphic design concepts, search engine optimization, usability, content, and navigation to create an experience that suits the users. Each web page within the site is usually an individual file and has its own unique URL - web address.

Heya! I had a contest on a website to get my logo. I paid $15 for the winning logo. I am going to have alterations made when I make the move to wordpress from icky blogspot, but I think it’s a great idea to have a contest for a header because you can pay a low price and be super picky.
