The Face Behind The Blog

September 3rd, 2007 by Court

Court With NephewsWell the day is finally here, I’m going to actually tell everyone a little about myself. I’m a 29 year old, aspiring guitar hero champion that lives in Provo, Utah (United States).

I actually planned on going to dental school until I was recruited to work at an internet marketing company by a friend. I loved making it happen on the internet so much I pretty much dropped everything and have been doing it full time ever since.

While I was still ‘working for the man’ I started to create some online businesses on the side that eventually freed me from the chains of a real job. It’s now been a few years since I started marketing with the internet and there’s no doubt that I will be a ‘make money onliner’ for the rest of my life.

If you came to Provo you would probably find me either 1) working at my computer, 2) working out at Gold’s Gym, 3) walking around town (I go for a walk almost every afternoon to think about the biz.), or 4) kickin’ it with friends.

Court Guitar HeroI’m not married yet, but am hoping that I receive that blessing someday. I would love to have a family of my own. I really like kids and love playing with my nieces and nephews (until they totally wear me out, lol).

I started this site because I want to help people learn to harness the power of this business. I believe that people can make it.

If anyone has any questions about me, let em’ fly! (I won’t be able to answer them until I get back from the cruise I’m on right now but I’ll answer them after that!)

Do you actually play the guitar? I used to compete in guitar head cutting contests (really playing) but I had to stop because music isn’t a competition, unless you’re a champion lol! I’m into my 2nd week of learning to make money and I’m glad I found someone I can understand. To be honest, Pro Blogger’s blog is like reading a lawn mower manual. Been there, done that. I want to get page rank, so I’ll do as you say - and I will let you know how it’s going. I’ve been reading this blog all night:)

It’s always nice to meet the person behind all the words on this blog.

Maybe one day we’ll meet in real. ;)

I really enjoy the advice on your site. I am brand new to blogging and would like to build a business without walls, like you. What are your opinions on blog carnivals? Are they worthwhile and which are the best ones for a personal development, business management site such as mine?

Hope you enjoyed your cruise…I ate my way to Mexico and back on a three dayer. Best time of my life.

I too assumed that the name Courtney indicated it was a woman writing this blog. I think this changes the tone in my head in which I read it now. Thanks for all the great advice along the way.

So, you’re a dude and you’ve been blogging here only 6 months. Do you have a job in addition to blogging or is this the only thing you do for money?

As someone who also works on the internet (part-time) building an article directory Article-gems) and forums and other ventures I want to thank you for taking the time to give advice to others on how to succeed.

Im glad to be here now and am enjoying every post.
