New WordPress Theme Viewer

The WordPress theme viewer has been upgraded with a brand new look. I have to admit that it looks really good, but the functionality is freaking terrible. The search function won’t allow you to find themes, and the old theme links are broken without redirects.

My test links on my SEO’d Themes aren’t working because of the changes. I’m going to see if they fix the issue, if they don’t I’ll have to remove the test links and come up with something different. Here’s a look at the new theme viewer:

New Search Engine Optimized Themes

There are four new search engine optimized WordPress themes that I’ve done over the last two days. There are now 21 total themes in there that I have personally optimized. I go through each line of code to make sure that they don’t have any issues. Some of the things I check for are:

• Hidden Text
• Hidden Links
• Proper Use of H1, H2, and H3 tags
• Proper Link Structure
• Shady Designer Ad Code and Affiliate Links (I find it all the time!)
• Other Types of Designer Shadiness and Laziness.

I want to increase the total amount of themes in there to about 100 in the not to distant future.

BlogRush Starts Showing Stats

For those of you that are using BlogRush, they have started showing stats. So far, I have earned over 41,000 credits which means that my newest feed will be shown over 41,000 times on other sites. A terrible click-through would still bring a significant amount of visitors to the site.

BlogRush is a really good way to leverage your existing traffic to gain some more exposure. They allow you to build credits off of your referrals which can get you even more exposure.
