Top 7 Internet Marketing Mentors You Can Trust

September 20th, 2007 by Court
Welcome to Court's Internet Marketing School...we have mountains of information to share with you about creating a low maintenance income on the internet, and the best place to start is with my free ebook: "The Keyword Crash Course."

In 30 short pages my ebook shows you exactly how to set up a low-maintenance income online using free traffic from Google. You'll learn:
  • How to discover keyword sets where the traffic potential is high but the competition is limited.
  • How to set up quick, easy, search-engine friendly websites with no programming knowledge whatsoever.
  • How to build those websites around high-paying keywords that will give you your first passive online income.

The ebook is free, but there is a catch - you have to actually download it, read it, and implement what it teaches. I'm not giving you this book for intellectual stimulation; I'm giving it to you so you can make money. Hundreds of my readers have used these principles to either create or increase their online income. You can do the same.

Just fill out the easy form below you'll be redirected to the download page. As a bonus I'll follow up with an email mini-course that outlines some of my biggest successes, failures, and key insights I've gained over the years as a full-time internet marketer. I'll send you the first installment right away. And don't worry - all you'll ever get from me is value-packed content. I'll never share, rent, or sell your personal information. Enjoy...and thanks for visiting!

No Crooks AllowedIs your preferred internet marketing expert responsible and trustworthy? There’s a lot of really bad advice out there. Some top ‘experts’ will tell you how to cheat systems and do a lot of other shady stuff that could compromise your business. Just because someone that has an incredible amount of expertise in the area can get away with it doesn’t mean that you can!

I wanted to make this list because these are people whose opinions I trust. If you want to build a long-term internet marketing business you need advice from people who actually care whether you have success or not. Consider this list a huge thanks to seven people that have made a difference for me. To say thanks to each of them, this list is 100% ad free.

Internet Marketing Mentors You Can Trust

  1. Darren Rowse | ProBlogger.net - No matter what blogging angle you want to learn about, you can go to Darren. He isn’t going to lead you astray and has built a reputation for being honest, balanced, and fair. Whether you’re a blogger or not, you can learn a lot from ‘ProBlogger’ about monetizing your site and building traffic.
  2. Maki | DoshDosh.com - Maki lays it down in a responsible, even tone. You won’t find a bunch of hype at Dosh Dosh, you’ll find a lot of really good advice. DoshDosh stands out because Maki has a very unique voice that explains concepts thoroughly. He seems to always cover every possible angle.
  3. Andy Beard | AndyBeard.eu - Whenever there’s a new, hot topic in the blogosphere, you can count on Andy to do a deep, fair analysis. He’s one of those guys that doesn’t buy into the hype or anti-hype. Andy gives his original opinions and thoughts, which tend to be really accurate.
  4. Bryan Clark | CopyBlogger.com - I know people are going to say that CopyBlogger.com is about copywriting, not internet marketing. If you’re not reading Copy Blogger daily, you’re not as good as you could be at internet marketing. Learning to write effective copy is essential for any blogger, webmaster, list marketer, affiliate marketer, or copywriter.
  5. Yaro Starak | Entrepreneurs-Journey.com - I really enjoy Yaro’s straight-up approach to entrepreneurship. He tells it like it is. You will find it very easy to get to know Yaro by reading a few of his posts and watching a few of his videos. I love Yaro’s site because he’s one of those guys that tells you how he was able to accomplish so much with the internet.
  6. Wendy Piersall | eMomsAtHome.com - You won’t find a blogger in the universe that cares more about her readers. If you read even a few of her posts you will quickly discover that she genuinely wants to help people. Wendy’s site is geared towards helping stay-at-home parents to learn to make money with the internet, but has been a big inspiration for the single guy that is me.
  7. Daniel Scocco | DailyBlogTips.com - DailyBlogTips is a site where you can find exactly that, daily tips about blogging. Although I’ve been following the site for quite some time, I haven’t found shady or irresponsible techniques discussed there. One thing I really like about Daily Blog Tips is that it covers both the basics and the complicated.

Thanks for being trustworthy guys!

Aw, shucks, Court. You ROCK! :)

Thanks so much - it is a high honor indeed and one I promise to continue to live up to for the rest of my life. ;)

And I totally agree with the rest of the mentions on your list. I consider them all friends and trust all of them just as much as you do!

What?!? Does this mean I can’t trust my favorite blog mentor who selflessly pours over blog themes to ensure we won’t get banned by Google. And who has also personally responded to everyone of my emails? Sorry Court, but you need to quickly re-title this post and add your name to the list. You have earned it.

Out of the 7 you listed, I am familiar with only DoshDosh. I guess I would have to check the others out to see how good they are

Though I would LOVE to read that list, usually the kind of people who you can’t trust are also the technological black-hat genius’ type. I would be absolutely terrified of pissing them off and getting my site hacked and having all of my affiliate links redirected through their account! ;)

Very nice list of people, most of which I visit regularly and would certainly agree that they are people you can trust - even though I’ve yet to meet any of them in person.

It can be very difficult to know whether or not to trust someone but these people have a solid track record of going out of their way to help people.

While all the bloggers listed are trustworthy, I think of your blog as the one I get my information from.

Also, I don’t link to the biggest blogs very often and probably never will. I link mostly to upcoming bloggers and people who have taken the time to give me a little attention.

The web landscape is constantly evolving and if I ever become a prominent, well known blogger, I will do things no other A-lister does. Fight and link to all the incredibly talented unknown bloggers that make up the heart of the blogging masses.

The only thing that will prevent this from happening is my death. Personally, I think you have the best money blog on the web. Rock on my friend!!!!!

That is certainly a great list. I know each one quite well (although I’ve never spoken to Yaro much), and what’s important is that they each take a different perspective and approach. And, by extension, they continue to write original material.

One of the biggest challenges in “blogging about blogging” or “blogging about the Internet” is the repetitive nature of the content. It’s easy to be a “me too” blogger in the space, but very hard to consistently come out with quality, original material.

It’s why I only “blog about blogging” once in awhile! *laugh*
