You Can Now Blog On CourtneyTuttle.com

No matter what type of website you have, I bet you would like to get more traffic. Gaining an active audience isn’t easy and I believe that bloggers and website owners need all the help they can get. There is so much advice out there, it’s difficult for people to know what to do - they don’t know whose directions to follow.
Creating resources that allow people to succeed has always been on top of my priority list. I know that if I can help people to achieve success, I will also be successful myself. Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about what I can do to help people to get more traffic, and I think I have some ideas that can really help people to reach that next level. I’m going to be telling you about one of these ideas today, and the rest over the next week’s time.
‘You Blog‘ is a new section of the site where you can blog about anything to do with internet marketing. The main purpose for this is to give aspiring internet marketers a place where they can write and gain an active audience. All you have to do to use You Blog is follow these steps:
- Register
- Login
- Write A Post
- Create an ‘About The Author’ section at the beginning or end of the post. Make sure to link back to your site.
To make this as effective as possible, I decided that people would need a chance to be promoted to the main blog. Every Friday from here until the end of time, I will be promoting a post from You Blog to the main site, where it will be read by all of the visitors here and 950+ RSS subscribers. Since my site is already a top 20,000 site in Alexa, there is plenty of traffic to go around, even to those posts on You Blog that don’t get promoted to the main site.
Update: Freebies had a great idea that will help to increase the visibility of the posts in You Blog. I will be linking to all of the posts in You Blog every weekend from the main site.
If you’re going to write on You Blog, I would recommend creating something of high quality. People will be reading it, and you can use this opportunity to create a name for yourself. Throwing something together in five minutes probably won’t get the response you’re looking for. If I was offered this chance when I was starting out, I could have grown a lot more quickly. Use this opportunity wisely.

You could also link to all the posts from the You-Blog every week, which would more encourage people to add articles.
You may also want to add a link to it on your nav bar.

I added a button above my navbar to make sure everyone finds it! I love the idea about linking to the articles each week. I’ll add that into the post right now.

Go idea on linking to articles. It is true traffic is important to your website or your page is just floating in the background of the internet abiss.
