The 1st Weekly YouBlog Awards

December 16th, 2007 by Court
Welcome to Court's Internet Marketing School...we have mountains of information to share with you about creating a low maintenance income on the internet, and the best place to start is with my free ebook: "The Keyword Crash Course."

In 30 short pages my ebook shows you exactly how to set up a low-maintenance income online using free traffic from Google. You'll learn:
  • How to discover keyword sets where the traffic potential is high but the competition is limited.
  • How to set up quick, easy, search-engine friendly websites with no programming knowledge whatsoever.
  • How to build those websites around high-paying keywords that will give you your first passive online income.

The ebook is free, but there is a catch - you have to actually download it, read it, and implement what it teaches. I'm not giving you this book for intellectual stimulation; I'm giving it to you so you can make money. Hundreds of my readers have used these principles to either create or increase their online income. You can do the same.

Just fill out the easy form below you'll be redirected to the download page. As a bonus I'll follow up with an email mini-course that outlines some of my biggest successes, failures, and key insights I've gained over the years as a full-time internet marketer. I'll send you the first installment right away. And don't worry - all you'll ever get from me is value-packed content. I'll never share, rent, or sell your personal information. Enjoy...and thanks for visiting!

The 1st week on YouBlog was great, I had quite a few people create posts that were very useful. To says thanks to those that contributed, I wanted to give away some awards and publish links to all of the posts here on the main site.

First Place WinnerFirst off, I wanted to offer my congratulations to Barry O (website automation and monetization), whose post was promoted to the main site. If you missed that post, you can find it here: Has Web 2.0 Become Web 2.Old?

This post was great for more than one reason, but the creative image at the beginning really made is stand out. You’ll have to have a look to see what I mean, but it was hilarious and applicable at the same time.

Using images that are funny or help people to relate to your writing can really make a difference in how effective it is.

Second Place WinnerSecond place this week goes to Sutocu (Your Website Profit), who wrote ‘Coping Without Google Traffic‘. No matter what your position on Google is, you have to admit that there are a lot of other options for traffic out there. Even if you’re working with the best traffic source out there, you should never rely on it 100%.

The best websites out there get to where they need to be and then don’t need to rely on any traffic sources anymore. The sites are so useful they are promoted and maintained by their current traffic - their promotion is done for them.Take a look at this post to get a few ideas of what’s out there.

Third Place Winner
Third prize in the weekly YouBlog Awards goes to webtools (webtools and tips) who wrote ‘How To Do Link Exchanges In A Google Friendly Way‘.

Some people believe that link exchanges are dead. I couldn’t disagree more, in fact link exchanges are a great way to get good links. Google even implies that it’s ok by saying that we shouldn’t do excessive link exchanges.

In order to make link exchanges a good method for promotion, they need to be done properly, and this post gives some good advice for doing that.

Here are the rest of the posts that were submitted to YouBlog this week:

If you are interested in having your post on next week’s list, visit YouBlog, register, and create a post. Most of the posts were approved this last week. The only ones that I didn’t approve were either copied from another location, or were 100% blatant self promotion. I would love to have as many participants as possible, but obviously can’t publish posts that don’t teach anything about internet marketing.

Here are some possible topics that you can use if you would like to write in YouBlog (you can also write anything that you can come up with):

  • How To Make Your Site Stand Out In A Crowd
  • Traffic, Traffic, Traffic
  • How To Get Attention From Popular Sites
  • How To Make Your Site Look Popular
  • How To Choose The Right Keywords For Your Authority Level
  • Analysis Of Bum Marketing (bum marketing is article marketing)
  • How To Come Up With Creative Ideas For Topics
  • Choose Your Own Topic

Update: If you found this post helpful, you're going to love our new ebook: The Keyword Crash Course...it's 100% free. Enter your email here to receive the series:

This book contains the methods used by hundreds of my students and readers to create an excellent low-maintenance income online...and it will for your too - if you'll just download it and put it to work.
