I need to learn the basics of wordpress/blogging!! Ok, so I have tried to set up my first blog for a week now... It took me a weekend to get the thing up (can you make it so that not everyone can see it until you're ready?) and then another two days to figure out how to make my text look like it did in word... now I'm trying to figure out how I can make pages on my site, not just posts. I downloaded the sniper theme and followed all the instructions on the post called 5000 (or whatever the number was) words on starting a profitable blog, but it is clear that I am way to unexperienced with blogs to make this work efficiently right away. So my question to you all is: Can you recommend a book that can teach me the very basics of a wordpress blog. How you format text, adding things like photos, etc. I saw WordPress for Dummies on Amazon, but it didn't get great reviews... I needs to be something really dummed down though.
