Court’s Links - 3/20/2008

March 20th, 2008 by Court

Here’s what I’ve been reading lately…If you want to be featured in the next edition, go to my contact page and send me a link that’s cool. :)

Help Choose A New Name For eMoms At Home - eMom rocks and even though I’ll miss calling her that, she’s making a wise decision by creating a new name and brand for eMomsAtHome.com. Wendy (eMom) has always supported me and she could use some help choosing the new brand.

Easter Egg Hunt! Find the Eggs & Win My StumbleUpon Traffic Course - Caroline Middlebrook is having an easter egg hunt on her site and is giving away copies of her soon-to-be-released StumbleUpon course to some of the winners. I thought this was a pretty brilliant idea for a promotion. Nice work Caroline. ;)

How to Use the Web to Build A Powerful Reputation In Any Industry - This post from DoshDosh addresses a critical factor of creating success online - building a reputation. No matter who you are, you need to expand your area of influence. Bravo Maki.

Successful Blogs: Courtney Tuttle’s Internet Marketing School - This is one of the best reviews I’ve ever had of my site and I would like to say thanks by linking back to it. :)

Viral List Building Trick - You guys HAVE to check out this trick, it’s freaking genius. Case - dang that’s smart.

How To Check How Many Backlinks Your Site Has - Since people are asking me how to do this all the time, I figured I would post this resource here. Thanks RJ!

Creating Your Purple Cow - This post by Shamim from the TeqEdge blog discusses an interesting principle that everyone should read. What are you doing to make your site stand out?

Wildlife Direct - This site is off-topic but very cool. Gideon from ForwardSlashMarketing sent me this link. I loved what Gideon said about the site:

We make our living from the internet which is cool. There are some fantastic people who aim to sustain life through the internet….which is absolutely fantastic.

Footprints In Cyberspace - Are You Following Bad Advice From False Gurus? - This post from Daniel McGonagle addresses something that I believe very much in - integrity in marketing. There are a lot of people selling products out there and some of them have no idea what works and what doesn’t..

Hm.. the only problem with your link in google is that they both point to a tag list… I’d avoid reading it, unless their was readable text under the header.
