The only reason I've got IE6 & 7 on my machine is to check if websites are viewable in them, otherwise FF is my 1st choice browser. Since changing over to FF three years ago I haven't had any issues, it is a far superior browswer to IE. If you however only want it for SEO Quake you'll be happy to hear that there is a new version for IE. They happily co-exist.
