How To Make Money For Kids

June 1st, 2008 by Court

No matter who you are and how much money you make, kids can be a serious financial burden. Honestly, it takes a lot of money to have kids. Learning how to make money for kids can help you to relieve that stress and pressure that comes from paying for t-ball, dance lessons, and school.

Your kids would probably love to have more money. They would love to be able to buy baseball cards, treats, clothes, toys, and probably lots of other things! By learning how to make money for kids, you can help your kids to become self-sufficient and you will also provide them with the confidence they need to be successful in life.

Giving money away liberally to your kids can be a huge mistake. This will make them more and more reliant on you, and this reliance will last for life if kept unchecked. Take advantage of opportunities when your kids need money. Show your kids how to make money instead of giving them everything.

The best moment to show your kids how to make money is going to be when they really want to buy something. These are the times when kids will be the most open to working for their new toy or set of baseball cards.

There are, of course, hundreds if not thousands of ways your kids can go about making money. For your convenience, we have listed a few of them to get you started.

Selling baked goods of all types

Cooking is super super fun for kids. Baking especially can be a great time for your kids and will create for them a product that people love to buy. Kids are also very good at learning how to bake and can often do their own baking after being show the ropes once or twice.

If you teach your kids to cook and bake foods and treats that they enjoy, it will make their baked goods venture much more exciting and ultimately successful.

Once your kids have learned how to bake, you will need to teach them how to go about finding people to buy. If your kids aren’t too young, going door-to-door can be a great option. Regardless of age, kids can set up a table at baseball games and other activities where a lot of people will be present.

Shoveling snow

When teaching your kids how to make money, it’s pretty important to show them how to think of ideas. If YOU need your snow shoveled, it’s obvious that your neighbors do too. This is a great opportunity for your kids to make money. They can knock on the neighbors doors asking them if they would like you to shovel snow.

Washing cars for neighbors and friends

If someone knocked on my door right now and asked if they could wash my car for $10, I would be all over it. Many people are in the same boat and are fighting the laziness that keeps them from getting out the soap or driving to the car wash. Kids can often take advantage of that fact and can help quite a few people while making some decent bucks.

Hopefully this gave you some ideas about how to make money for kids. For additional information, you can check more on ways for kids to make money and ways for teens to make money, and online business opportunity.

What about helping kids do assemble computers…. And i mean kids above 12 years… Kids are now-a-days much tech savvy, and i have seen young kids (including me) earning pocket money write off by assembling custom made computers for clients.

Sure, you might think this is ridiculous, but hey i can vouch for it. You might be amazed how addicting it gets and how fast the kids will pickup.

What say court..???

I think that with the state of the current economy, kids will be turning to do extra things to earning money for themselves. Parents are no longer being able to dish out all that cash for allowances.
