Unique Article Wizard Review
January 22nd, 2009 by CourtAs most of my readers know, I’ve been trying out Unique Article Wizard (I like to call it UAW) for a few months now. When I test out a service like this I dig in, use it, and then I take a look at the results. I use the results to decide whether I want to keep the service or not.
Article Marketing Services That I Have Stopped Using
Those of you that are familiar with article marketing will have heard of a few services that I have discontinued over the past year. Here are the ones I’ve tried:
- iSnare – I got rid of them because they took weeks to approve my articles.
- Article Marketing Automation – I discontinued use because they didn’t get my articles out to very many sites. Most went out to about 30 sites.
- Article Marketer – This is the one I liked the most after UAW but I discontinued use after I started using UAW. Article Marketer has been taking a few weeks to get articles out, and doesn’t get you nearly as many indexed links as you can get with UAW. I made a lot of money because of Article Marketer so I guess ultimately I wasn’t too unhappy with it – I simply discovered a much better service.
What You Can Expect Out Of Unique Article Wizard
The only reason to use a service that helps your articles to get out there is so that you can get links for your site. UAW will give you a lot more links than each of the competing services I’ve tried and as far as I know, I’ve tried all of the big ones. If this service wasn’t by far the best I knew of, I wouldn’t have written a Unique Article Wizard review. I honestly would be reviewing one of the other services.
Since UAW gets your articles into quite a few blogs (mostly WordPress and Blogger blogs) you can get a lot more direct traffic than you would get from Article Marketer, iSnare, or Article Marketing Automation. It still isn’t a huge amount, but it’s more than you would think.
If you’re going to get the most benefit out of UAW, you want to find keywords that are medium and long tail. I would try to find keywords that are three, four, or five word phrases. Make sure to integrate the keywords into your site and then you can use UAW to write and distribute about the same topics. Links from related pages help more than links from unrelated pages and this will help your links to have more value.
You can expect to get at least 100 indexed links from a UAW submission. I have a few articles out there now that have been indexed with over 400 results in Google. This is because with UAW each site gets a slightly unique version. One of the Unique Article Wizard reviews I read before buying the service also said that he was getting over 100 indexed pages that contained links to his site from each of his submissions.
My articles have been getting approved and submitted within 24 hours (they don’t work Sundays). This is a huge improvement over Article Marketer and iSnare, who were both taking over 2 weeks when I last used them.
Using Unique Article Wizard
Using this service is quite a bit like most other article distribution service with a few useful changes. With UAW, you create unique versions for each article directory. UAW won’t let me tell you how this is done but I can tell you that what you have to do is easy and it takes an extra 20 to make this happen. This seems to help a ton with the indexing in Google. With Article Marketer I could usually only get indexed on like 20 pages as of late but with UAW I almost always get a few hundred.
Another big change that’s awesome with UAW is that you can submit as many resource boxes as you want. That means you can use a lot of variety in your links and that’s a huge benefit. You can also put links within the articles if you want to.
Results from Unique Article Wizard
I have done a few experiments with Unique Article Wizard and have been able to get some great results. I recently did a test to see how much improvement I could get out of a single site in 30 days by using UAW and I was to improve the site I was testing from an average of $19.03 per day to an average of $38.72. I didn’t use any other promotional techniques because I wanted the test to be pure. The money was made with Adsense, here’s a screen shot of this channel for the last week from my Adsense account:
Based on the results I have been able to get with UAW so far I’m going to give it a huge thumbs up. They are out-classing all of the other companies right now by a land slide and are running a very professional shop.

I think the fact that you can put links within the article is one of the biggest draws for me. For those of us that occasionally have trouble coming up with article ideas, having the ability to create a list-based article is a great backup plan.
If I wake up and realize I just don’t have my best stuff coming out of my head that morning, I like being able to create a list of “The Top 25 Resources for [interesting topic]“. It could be Flash, it could be SEO, but because I’m able to include links to external sites (not just my own), it makes the list far more useful. Without those links it’s barely an interesting read, the user needs to be able to click through and see what’s going on.

Thanks for the information on the new product.I had written a a batch of articles and was looking for an effective method for article submission as I had been warned about “duplicate content”.And yet I have limited time and would rather spend that time writing new articles than rewrite my old ones.Your post about UAW has solved my problem.It is definitely on my purchase list.Thanks again.

Thomas you’re going to see an increase but it shouldn’t be very big. This helps a lot more with keyword authority than it does with PageRank.

The one I keep hearing about but haven’t seen you mention is Linkvana. Anyone know anything about it? People seem to have dropped all else for it.

Yeah James AMA’s distribution is really small. They have a solid idea but we’ll just have to see if they get any bigger or not. If not, it’s not worth the cost when you compare to UAW.

Hmmm…..I ran 5 articles recently through UAW for a new site. After an initial traffic surge for about a week, the site is basically back to zero.
On the setting for distribution, are you letting it submit to all directories at once, or are you cutting it down to like 25 or 50 a day?

Mike I would have to know a lot more than that to be able to tell if you’re using it correctly but I can tell you that on a new site I would probably slow down the submission process to 10 or 20 per day. The highest number I use is 50 per day.
Mike instead of just looking at traffic you need to keep track of before and afters for your rankings. People get all messed up because they start out with a ranking that’s pretty low like #87. They do some UAW and actually get up to where they have some traffic – maybe they’re ranked like #12 or something. After the initial surge they drop down to #21.
The funny thing is that there’s virtually no traffic difference between #87 and #21 but since people aren’t keeping track of where they rank for the keywords they got they can’t see that they have actually progressed but they obviously have. Looking at traffic only is a bad metric!
If you’re dealing with a new site you can also have a sand-boxing problem that can skew your results so it’s probably not the best way to test the service.

Hi Court.
Fair enough. I would love to see a tutorial/case study on how you got that site from zero to 19 a day to begin with.
For me, it’s much tougher to initially get the site off the ground then it is to grow it once established. Would you use UAW in the same way?
For my site in question. The page went from oblivion (below 400) to #12 for about 4 days, then back to oblivion again. It’s now done this three times in the last month. I know G will often do this initially on a new site, but I’ve never seen one pop in and out that many times before.

I’m definitely in. Just waiting to get paid again. Court, I know each niche is different, but generally speaking at what age can you start to consider a site not new anymore so you could safely do the 50 submissions?

Medic that’s actually going to depend on what links the site actually has already. If you already have some really good links you can probably get there within a month or two. If the site doesn’t have any links it’s going to probably take four months before you can do that many.
I personally never worry a ton about getting a site sandboxed because I always multiple sites that are aging.

I dont understand why some people are having problems with Article Marketer. I NEVER have and they always approve my article in 2 days or less. Their service is faster than ever for me.

Been hearing a lot of good stuff about UAW and am certainly considering it now (will join under your link if I do go for it).
I was wondering a couple things, first of all, you say you don’t like AMA because of low distribution but I thought the value of it was because they were distributing to real, relevant blogs, not just article directories and free blogger blogs, is this not right?
I thought 30 links from hosted, relevant blogs would be just as good if not better than hundreds of article directory links.
Also, have you looked at Article Post Robot?
I think it does the same thing as UAW only it’s a one time fee instead.

UAW submits to a lot more REAL sites than AMA right now. I haven’t heard of Article Post Robot. It might be the same thing but I would need to see their distribution to know if it was worthwhile. UAW is so good because of how good and big the distribution is.

I’m assuming you need your own original article to start with, then plug it in the software and spend the ’20 minutes’ tweaking stuff and then it creates a bunch of unique versions and then blasts them out…..correct?

Thank you for the great feedback. I’ve been looking at UAW for a while now and I do believe the service is excellent, however, they are a little expensive. Does anyone have any feedback on ‘Submit your Article’? They also submit unique articles and are much cheaper. The only problem is that they only submit 8 articles a month where UAW is unlimited.

I’ve tried Linkvana… I was very pleased with Linkvana and their customer service (there was a billing error, and they took my word for it and refunded $300, so I am very impressed with their ethics). It’s a solid platform, but I only recommend it if you’re working on 4-5 sites at a time (to justify cost).

I’m not so sure if I believe the AMA 10k blog distribution list, especially since recently blogger just put a filter on the AMA distributed content for all the old blogger blogs that were in the system. But it’s got a killer spinner, and with a little love the system works like a charm.
Now an AMA UAW stacked combo? You are sitting on more gold than any LV type system could offer. For less than the monthly LV fee at that. Just my two cents.

Interesting review. I use AMA, and recommend it, but haven’t checked this product out. I don’t see why both wouldn’t be useful, particularly for those that already have the use of AMA through the PLRPro membership. I’ve been submitting articles into AMA since last fall and find that I get far more submissions than the 30 that was your experience. You have no reason to believe me but I have numerous articles that have been posted over 300, 200, 100 times. And they continue to get submitted, daily, sometimes weekly.Guess it just depends on what your niche is maybe. I know I submitted a handful of articles just last week and none have been posted less than 30 already. I also find the ability to add blogs to the system quite useful. I drop all sorts of free hosted blogs into the system to collect articles which helps me create nice little niche networks that I use for various projects. And the spinner is indeed the slickest thing I’ve ever used in this sort of work. I’m surprised it would take an extra 20 minutes to “tweak” the article for unique versions with UAW. In my experience with AMA it is far less cumbersome, or so it would seem.However, like you alluded to, AMA is not without it’s flaws like most IM products
That said, I don’t see why using both (or all) wouldn’t be of value, particularly given the importance that everyone is flogging about backlinks.

Hi, guys,
splork, I signed up to AMA under you and, Court, I did the same with UAW under you. And I use them both. It is not cheap ($114/month) but still not that bad. I found AMA´s rewriting tool better than UAW´s as it allows you to rewrite individual sentences. I do normal submission with AMA and then take the prespun version of the article from AMA and submit it to UAW (one step submission), UAW generates the new spun version itself. Now some pros and cons I realized:
AMA (pros)
- method of rewriting;
- automatic submission to XML/RPC self hosted blogs is easy;
- up to 3 links from the body, can be spun as many times as you wish;
AMA (cons)
- maximum submissions per article didn´t exceed 50 (yet), splork, you must tell me how you manage 300+;
- as a marketer you don´t know what websites your are submitting to you only have a ballpark number (this is to protect the publishers);
UAW (pros)
- hundreds of backlinks (!);
- they give you statistics which sites you submitted to and you can google (or yahoo) them out (this doesn´t work if you spin the article names or author pennames);
UAW (cons)
- rewriting method is not that comfortable (but still OK);
- only 2 links per article;
- if spinning just anchors of your links it is OK, as soon as you want to spin also the target URL, UAW tells you you have too many backlinks in you article and you should limit them to just 2;
- automatic submission is possible only to blogger blogs;
Both AMA and UAW
- they work fast, though AMA had some problems at the end of 2008 (I was sitting on zero like 10 days in line, really considering personal visit to AMA with a baseball bat, luckily they fixed it);
- they offer more or less the same quality of links;
- they are complementary, though there is some minor risk that their blogs overlap.
Do it like me, use them both. Use the AMAs rewriting interface to prespin your article for UAW (you will also need some wordprocessor to change their special chars they use for spinning as they differ) and you will be fine.

I use UAW and I’m very satisfied with it even though I find my self getting a little lazy sometimes on writing articles and I don’t do it as much as I’m supposed to do but it really is beneficial to getting your site to do well!

Hi Court, i signed up under you with username Paul987 on February/19/2009, can you send me vid? One thing that concerns me is that google seems to know this is dup content anyway. Ie if is search for my article in google after the second page i get:
“In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 16 already displayed.”
Maybe im doing it wrong, but i followed all the instructions by UAV. Im worried at the moment that this is just the same as article marketer only more expensive.

I wouldn´t say it is SPAM. Just some portion of the links you´ll get this way will be devalued. But… my experience is that some portion is always devalued regardless of how many times you rewrite the article. Maybe if you´d rewritten any sentence of the original article 10 times… but that´s simply too much work.

Everyone has to be careful of this kind of stuff. Now although this is a great tool and can rewrite your article in a manner that can pass copyscape (and thus probably google’s own algos); newbies need to know that this is not some kind of miracle tool. You need to work hard, and submit articles manually. But so far all the reviews i’ve been hearing are positive or somewhat positive, so good stuff. I think ill give it a try.

Will Google ban us if we submit more than 50 per day?I still have not purchased the program but I am thinking about it. Do you guys think it worth the money?is it something like social submitter but the only difference is that it submits different article to every social or article site? Do I have then to rewrite all my paragraphs of the article 50 times if I want it to submit to 50 sites or it does it automatically for you?i just really want to find out how much time I will need in order to submit one article that is all.

Few days ago I signed in with myarticlenetwork.com.
After I paid $47 for the first month (the same amount I pay to articlemarketing automation every month) I found out that the price was not the only thing the two have common. MAN is a sheer copy of AMA.
I submitted 15 articles and now am waiting what happens. Based on MAN user interface, articles were published few times still nowhere to be found in google. I´ll update you soon.
First impression – don´t sign in with both ama and man, one seems to be enough as they may share some portion of blog portfolio.

This has inspired me to do some testing with UAW. I’ve heard it talked about a lot over the last 6 months it seems, but the results you posted (earnings from AdSense) are truly interesting.
I always enjoy reading some good content by someone who understands the value of testing for results, so thank you for making a positive contribution to my searches tonight. haha

Good article, however, when I went to the UAW url I was immediately turned off by the flashing color tab, the in your face large red bolded text, the yellow highlighted sections and the over kill of his selling points.
I would much prefer to see such marketing presented in the same fashion as the articles on your site.

1stly, I’d like to say: Great article, appreciate it. This is my first time on your site.
I understand that you wrote this article a few months ago, and you haven’t chimed in to the comment’s as of late. That being said, I’m assuming that you are still utilizing UAW for this site and/or possibly other’s. I see that you have over 100k links to this site, in the last two years…bravo! I have been busy filtering through the “article marketing” noise, for the entire day. Submission software/submission service? Then which one? Anyway, at this juncture I’m going to go ahead and give UAW a shot. I don’t care about the cabbage, rather I just don’t want to waste my time dealing with a software or service that either has a lot of bugs or just doesn’t perform as well as another one, and then having to start over learning a new system…my time is much more important than 67 bones. What I really wanted to ask is, would you consider “chiming” in to the comments, that is…now that some more time has elapsed. I would love to hear your current reflections on UAW. Are you still using it? If so, what kind of results have you achieved since you wrote the article? You know, that kind of stuff. I’m sure your readers would appreciate it, and I know I certainly would. Just looking for some more positive reinforcement…that I’m picking the best possible product for my objective, which I needn’t expound upon. Oh, lastly, since I had already been to a few affiliate sites for UAW, before I found yours…need I clear my cookies?, so you get the credit? Or is going through your link sufficient to accomplish that. Your article was the best info that I had found to date, so, fair is fair. I will be checking the “notify me via e-mail” box, in case you feel inclined to comment…as I hope you will.

I have used UAW and My results have not been that great. It shows you on the video tutorial that he checked his article in the searches and it was showing up consistantly every week. Well, my articles are not showing up nor am I getting ANY backlinks that I can see on Yahoo. I would love for something like this to actually work but I will not be continuing my subscription.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows. I’m a bit of a newbie & in my learning etc, I’ve been hearing tons of hype about “duplicate content”. So isn’t using an article marketing system doing just that? Sending out the same article to tons of different directories? How do you get around that, or how does it not hurt you w/ Google?

With regard to duplicate content…you will not be penalized by G, that being said, you will not get any additional link juice if your same article were published on multiple sites. So, you would be wasting your time. However, the product they are discussing here, U.A.W…..You do a few versions of a seed article, they then create many unique versions…then those get submitted to different article directories. That is the premise for this particular product.

Totally 100% agree with your review. I’ve used UAW for a while now and the results speak for themselves. I’ve managed to rank sites on the first page of google with over 100 million competing sites. In all fairness, UAW is not the only strategy but damn does it help. Keep up the good work here.

Last year you were recommending “Article Marketer”. Now you are recommending “UAW”. Which do you find most effective? Do you recommend using both, or do they just duplicate each other?

I’ve just started doing some serious article marketing & have been submitting manually to the top 10 article directories (by PR & Alexa ranking). However, it’s so time consuming, that I want to find the best way of making multiple submissions, but ensuring that the submissions are actually worth something in terms of backlinks etc.
I found another blog which said that you were recommending Article Marketer, but now I’ve come here, as per the above comment, I see you are saying UAW is better!
I am wary of anything that is automated & article marketer seems to at least have a human part to it. I’m also fed up with these one page websites that all follow the same old affiliate marketing pattern of showing references (from other affiliate marketing gurus) & screenshots of Adsense earnings; most of them have turned out to be a pile of **** once I’ve paid my money

$67 a month for an automated service – I really don’t know. Would be interesting to know whether it makes any real difference to the rankings, or if it’s just another over-hyped piece of junk!

I had UAW for a month and canceled it before 30 days money back guarantee period and was expecting money to be refunded automatically.
Looks like you have to cancel within 30 days and ask them for refund within 30 days by email. If not $67 is GONE.
That was the mistake I did and trying to see if I can get the refund. Had account for less than 30 days and waited too long to ask for the refund.
Read the following statement carefully
“Then, if at any time in that month you are not bowled over by the results you are getting, simply email me and I will give you a full refund, no questions asked”

I’ve started using UAW and signed up through your link, thanks! I have a question. I chose VERY low competition keywords on brand new sites. I submitted articles to UAW 10 days ago with the distro. setting at 30/day. I did this for 120 new sites. I don’t see any traffic/rankings even though there’s virtually no competition. How long does it typically take to shake up the GoogleBot? Just curious. Also, will using UAW automatically drop my brand new sites into the famed sandbox? Thanks for any reply you might have.

I am beginning to become a little concerned with my subscription to UAW! I have submitted a few articles doing the 3 rewrites, however when I search the article in Google I find the results but what really bothers me is when I click on the links to the articles I am finding that they are not unique versions!
The whole point of UAW is that you will receive 100′s of unique backlinks, with the articles not being different versions I cannot see how I am not going to be penalized for duplicate content.
I am curious to hear if anyone else has found this to be true for them as well.

Have you tried the advanced method that is jet spinning the article? That is where you put alternative versions of articles withing the article (within the 3 you are writing). Also, are you keeping your paragraphs short as recommended, up to 3 sentences long each. Try this. Hope it helps with them being spinned effectively.

You need to check your articles side-by-side. Mine are unique; however, they are so similar that you may not notice unless you do that.

I appreciate the review, but I can’t help but wonder how effective this actually is. I mean, sure, it will get you links, but Google keeps getting harder and harder to beat with spun content. And the minute they figure out what’s been going on, they’ll devalue all the links and there will be a huge drop in rankings.

Submitting articles to 100s of article directories does nothing for your website ranking. If the directory has a PR of 0, 1 or 2 the backlink doesn’t mean much. Google will see a backlink from a low PR site, chuckle and move past your site.
Try submitting to a handful of high PR directories. Getting your article added to a dozen of these high PR sites will get you more notice from Google than submitting to 1000s of PR0s.

I have used UAW for my article submissions for a long time now and honestly I keep trying out all the new systems that come along and they just can’t keep up with these guys.
I have finally come to the conclusion that there are market leaders that just get the job done. Paypal will be the market leader for payments. Google will remain the market leader for search. Aweber will be the market leader for email. And UAW will be the market leader for article marketing.
That being said, the bigger you grow your online business, the more tools you will need to keep moving forward. So, in time you will need UAW plus some of the other services too. If you are going to article market, then utilize all the big networks you can. Start with EzineArticles, then UAW, then everybody else.

I just love UAW. I have been able to rank consistently within the top 10 for my niche keyword just by publishing articles from UAW. This service is truly awesome. I highly recommend it.
The only drawback is you have to write your own original articles. While I am most capable of writing my own articles, I prefer to simply outsource this part. This way I can simply submit the articles in a timely manner and build my backlinks on a continual basis using UAW with not much work involved. It’s a win-win situation.

Just a quick red herring. I noticed that your earnings dipped over the weekend…weird…Anyway.
I’ve been thinking of an article distributer for a while now. A guy I know who is pretty much doing the same thing as myself has been having some good success in the serps with it. I like the sounds of getting a lot of links actually INDEXED. I’m guessing this is to do with the unique content?

Good review but unfortunately google has caught on to the footprints made by these services. Nothing beats human writers.

Yes! I’ve used UAW and for sure you should check it out. Yes, it is somewhat expensive if you are on a budget, but once again, well worth it.

I recently ( very recently ) started using UAW and have seen some great results very quickly and the step by step videos are very helpful. With this program you can also go in and look at which sites they have been submitted to and all different types of other tweeks and reporting. I do have to say that for the longest time I was manually submitting hundreds of articles manually to about 20 different sites ( drove me crazy and wasted so much time).
In three days now I have obtained 37 additional links back to my site and moved up on the alexa ranking 1000 points – all by UAW no of course not – this is not a magic pill or silver bullet that will do everything for you. I use this tool along with forum posts, blog commenting ( that I comment on 5 blogs per day minimum) and a few other things – as so should you!

“Unique” content will always be more interesting for the reader, hence more traffic.

How did UAW impact on your page rank? did this software make a considerably difference to your website? i am keen to try it but want to know the impact it has.

We used UAW for about 6 months.
We found it to be ineffective for the most part and an interesting ploy to get people to produce content to the people who will truly benefit the most, the people who are publishing your content onto their websites.
There is no debate over unique content. Unique content only really effects the person adding the content to their site. You will still get some credit for a link if it shows up on a web page regardless of whether it was duped content. We publish the same article to 1,000s of article directories everyday. Our reward? Higher rankings

Page ranking has no real impact on whether you will rank for a search term or not. However, that said, these are low quality and low value links for the most part. People setup these article receptacles and receive UAW content. These pages rarely get indexed into google, yahoo or bing based on our experience.
What I will say is that if you write for a specific niche, you may see some benefit from UAW because you won’t need a whole lot of point values to move up the rankings.
Overall, we found the process to be difficult and our articles often were not approved for several days or even longer. This is a straight evaluation of the software. We gave it 6 months. I would much rather keep my $60/mo.
However, we do use the UAW plugin on some of our sites for minimal SEO value and invite all of you to keep writing for us. THANKS

AUW is one powerful article marketer, I’m currently using it and I’m pretty much satisfied with the traffic I’m getting to my sites. Of course it doesn’t help with the PageRank but it attracts more visitors.

Hi, Neat post. There’s a problem with your web site in internet explorer, would check this… IE still is the market leader and a good portion of people will miss your great writing because of this problem.

Interesting review on article marketing product. If I got it correct from the sales page, you should write every week a new article to keep up with your competition, right? So if you have more websites promoting products from different niches, it becomes a full time job – article writing I mean!

UAW has been a great help for me when trying to promote affiliate products. It takes a little time and effort, but is well worth the results.

I’ve known some people in the internet marketing field who said UAW was great and some who said it wasn’t. I think if you know how to use it it can work wonders and if you don’t know what you’re doing it will just be a disaster.

I actually just started using this service about a week ago. like you said it is great how your articles get submitted to hundreds of different article directories, I am now just stating to see my rank climb for my keywords, I will check back in a week or so to give some details on how much my site is climbing, but so far i am very satisfied with UAW
