Revenue Streams
There are plenty of ways you can earn money with a website or blog. Here are some of the ones I’m currenty using. I will also provide some tips and information with each. I’m fully using some of them - I’m still evaluating others. Look at the ‘Status’ of each to see what I think.
Program: Google Adsense
Status: Fully Implemented and Trustworthy (I’ve been paid by them multiple times)
Percentage of Last Month’s Revenue: 27%
If you haven’t signed up for Adsense yet, I would definitely recommend starting here. Adsense is a free program that places ads on your site for you. Google has already made deals with tons of advertisers, so you don’t have to sell any ads at all. You get paid by Google for each time one of your visitors clicks on an ad. Google has paid me the most out of all of these programs, although last month it wasn’t my #1 earner.
Program: GoDaddy Domain Reselling
Status: Fully Implemented And Trustworthy (I’ve been paid multiple times)
Percentage Of Last Month’s Revenue: 29%
If you teach your readers how to make money with the internet, a GoDaddy reseller account could by a great way to add income to your site. I have lessons here that show people how to setup blogs using my GoDaddy reseller account, which is found at ProudDomains.com.
The really nice thing about this type of income stream is its residual nature. When people buy hosting, they pay each month. This means that you earn each month. My reseller account was my #2 earner last month, and is my #3 earner overall.
