Discovery the importance of marketing yourself!

Through out the blog world most marketers are focusing there efforts on marketing your site and building a lot of articles based around SEO related topics. Which is great because we all need to learn this stuff but what a lot of people are forgetting to talk about is one of the most important topics, well that is to me anyways, and thats “you” and learning how to market your self better in life and through your blog. There are a lot of area’s a person can work on when trying to develop how they appear to others. The first topic I would like to post on is the physical aspect.

The first look at you or your site can determine if a person is going to stick around, read your post and leave a comment or even buy something from you if your with that person face to face. You always see sales people in suits or they appear very clean cut and dry (so to speak) as there is a reason for that. You need to feel comfortable with who you are dealing with before you invest any of your time in them. The same theory applies to your web site. If it is hard to follow or people can’t find what they think they are looking for, there going to get frustrated dealing with you and move on.

Trying to get them back can sometimes be hard to pull off. If you are trying to build a site that is eye catching colors are great to use as an attractant but you have to keep in mind you need to keep your site flowing, If you are using reds at the top of the screen, use them at the bottom. Or if you want to change colors reduce the amount of red you have at the bottom but still keep a bit in there to keep your site flowing. Using this method I have received a ton of compliments on how my site flows and is laid out.

I like those types of comments but myself I know I still have a long way to go till Your World Gallery reaches the heights I want it to, and also being an artist I am kinda fussy on how my site flows and reads. If you would like some tips on arranging colors on your site just let me know, I would love to help out in the area and I promise I will not recommend neon colors…..lol
