It happens to the best of us. We sit to down to blog and nothing comes out. We sit there and try to connect to some train of thought, but nothing comes along. If your main business is blogging, this could be a problem for you. There are many different ways to try and get rid of writers block or blogger’s block as it sometimes called. The best thing to do is try a few different ideas and see what works best for you.

Find A Happy Place

One great idea is to not blog in a quiet spot. Get outside—go to a park, a café or even the library with your laptop. This will allow you to concentrate on what you are doing but at the same time, give you some breathing room. Maybe your environment will spark some new ideas in you r head and give you some fresh perspective.

Keep a pad of paper and pen with your all the time. This way if you are out and about and get a great idea for a new blog, you can write down a few thoughts on paper until you get to a computer. If you have several different ideas, just make a list. That way when you feel you have nothing to write about, you can fall back on that list of ideas thought of at other random times.

Check Out What Is Going On In Cyberspace

A lot of people recommend subscribing to Google Alerts. This program will help you stay informed and on top of things. By staying informed of current events you may come up with some great blogging topics to get everyone reading and wanting more.

Look at other people’s blogs. Check out other blogs that may not even be of interest you but will maybe give you some good ideas of what other people are reading and blogging. Try blogging about something that you may have written about. It is always good to explore new options and new horizons. And it could lead to even more ideas eventually.

Stay In Touch With Your Reader

Ask your reader’s what they are interested in hearing about. Post a poll or a quiz on your blog and see what kind of responses you get from those who frequent your page. Another great way to know what the readers want to hear is read their comments. A lot of times readers will make some great comments or have interesting questions that you could answer or expound upon. This is a great way to give the readers a personal touch, by answering some questions or commenting on their comments. It will definitely keep them reading more too.

Ask yourself if there have been any major events in your life in the last while. Whether it is personal or business, a lot of people will be able to relate and want to connect to your experiences. Don’t be afraid to talk about personal feelings and events. More people will be able to connect and understand what you are talking about.

If you have tried several different ideas and they are not working for you, there are many websites available to assist you with your bloggers block. Just try a few things and find what works best for you and stick to it!
