There are many different factors when it comes to putting a blog together and having people actually read it. One way that you can be sure that you can get a lot of hits is by offering a RSS feed to your readers. And keep in mind that there are a few ways to quickly and easily get a large amount of subscribers to your RSS feed.

By putting forth a bit of effort on your part, you could increase your RSS subscriber numbers very quickly.Place an icon and subscription details at the very top of you page, in one of the most obvious places. This way it is the first thing they see every time they access your blog.

Always Remind People of RSS

Aside from the icon, invite them to subscribe to your RSS feed at the bottom of every post. This could easily be done by adding it your blog template. If you are providing good and useful information, you should have no problem getting them to subscribe.

Offer your services as a guest blogger for other blogs. Make sure you mention your own blog and the RSS feed invitation is also available for the viewers to see. There is nothing wrong with a little publicity on someone else’s page. If readers enjoy what you have written, they are more than likely going to check out your own blog to read more.

What happens if you don’t get any offers to guest blog? One option is to leave comments on other blogs. If you are on the first page of comments, it is a lot more likely that people will notice your comment. Don’t be afraid to leave your link, especially if you have covered a similar topic recently. Just make sure to do it tactfully and that your comment has some relevance to the blog that you are leaving it on.

Entice Potential RSS Subscribers

Another good idea is to offer free products like e-books, e-courses or audio conferences for everyone that decides to subscribe. Many may join just to receive the free gift, but at least that gives you the opportunity to dazzle them with your expertise and impressive blog. Offering free products will catch their eye and make them want to read more.

You could also try offering an e-mail subscription when it comes to the RSS feed. A lot of people these days still prefer to receive e-mails. This could increase your numbers a lot by creating an e-mail option for the RSS feed. This should not be difficult to do and will send out an e-mail to all of those on the list for every post that you put on your blog.

There are many other ways that you can increase your RSS feed subscriber numbers, but you just need to try and see what works best for you. If one way is not effective, try a few different ones. A combined effort with several different methods is sure to get you some great results to help build a strong brand, improve your link count, and create long term passionate customers.
