Many times when you think about marketing a website, you may only think about your different online options of marketing. But many people are realizing that they can have success in different ways that are not even connected to the internet that can make you unique from your internet marketing competition. Most of the time, you need to look at all your options and decide what will work best for you and your site. But keep in mind that there are many different options available for you.

Newspaper Ads

Good, old-fashioned newspaper ads are a great place to start. If you feel like your local newspaper is not going to get you the traffic you are looking for on your site, try advertising in a nationwide paper like USA Today or The Wall Street Journal. These papers are read by thousands of people daily and are more than likely going to get you the traffic you are looking for.

Billboards

Billboards and signs placed strategically across your town or other large cities are a cost-effective way to advertise your business’s website. If you have any type of sign outside your business, make sure that the company’s site is listed on that sign also. Hopefully your site is something easy to remember so that even people driving by will be able to remember it.

Always, Always Blab About Your Website

All of your printed material should have your website printed on it also. Never send out a letter with company stationary without. Never give out a single business card without it. And never give out any type of printed material, whether it is a hat, pen, or coffee mug without your website printed on it. Every time they look at that particular item, they should be able to think about your website.

E-mail Lists

Include your website on all the e-mails you send to your e-mail list. Don’t have an e-mail list? Start creating one by collecting names and e-mails of your customers at your business location. If this is not reasonable, ask your employees to start collecting e-mail address from all of your clients until you have a good list. And make sure that you somehow always include your website on the e-mails you send out.

Make Your Marketing Interactive

Another good idea is to leave your website on voice mails or other messaging services. Hearing it once of twice will help to keep it fresh in your customer’s minds. You could also include your website on your faxes, letters and any other communication that is leaving your office. Encourage all employees to put the website as part of their signature when they end all outgoing e-mails.

Your Knowledge Can Be Priceless

The next time you doubt that offline marketing ideas can get you good business, think again because there are many successful businesses that don’t know anything about internet marketing. Try a few different ways to get your website out in the public through non-internet related means. Many businesses don’t have websites and could use your expertise on internet marketing and blogging. They will even pay for it.

You need to look outside the box to separate yourself from other internet marketing gurus like Court. You will be surprised at the attention you will start to get just by always remembering to add your website to everything. There are many more ways than are listed above but just be creative and you will find more.
